As promised before, the new patch has been released by the end of January! This time we’ve decided to show you the progress we’ve made this week rather then write about it. All we can add is that from now on, surroundings in Out of Reach can be your friend or foe!

NEW! Tree chopping:
– Tree gets chopped down when can’t provide any more wood
– Tree states are synchronized between all players
– Trees can grow back at night but not earlier then 12 in-game hours after chopping.
Animals:
– NEW! Ragdoll physics for all of the animals after being killed (based on weapon and direction of the last blow)
– Fixed crocodile not drowning after being killed
– Fixed dead bodies carcasses of the animals disappearing underground in specific situations
Building:
– Added Wooden Big Pole with 2 support points for each of 4 floor-segments to create bigger, spacious rooms
– Added Single Support Pole for diagonal walls
– Rearranged building elements in the building panels
– Fixed burning down of newly upgraded building elements
Anti-cheat:
– for resources gathering
– for the time of Alpha tests information about cheating will be displayed on players UI, please let us know if you get this info when playing normally or don’t get it when trying to cheat
Sounds:
– Added sound when destroying buildings
– Ocean sounds turned down by 20dB
– Sounds of spears, stones, hammers, pickaxes and swords can now be heard by other players
Performance:
– Level of Details for all trees
Others:
– Fixed changing weapon sets exactly when a torch burns out doesn’t freeze the torch in the hand
– Fixed equipping shields exactly when a torch burns out doesn’t desynchronise the inventory with the server
– Player who didn’t have items before his death does not drop empty bags anymore
– Empty, not used bags on the ground vanish after 30sec
– Death of the player who was using chests does not freeze them until the player logs out
– Window of the chest now closes when the chest gets destroyed
– Rotation of the player in now properly synchronized
